Jeff Martin, 33, was born downstate in Plymouth, Michigan, but spent all of his summers at Upper Peninsula Bible Camp in Little Lake, first as a camp brat, later as a camper, summer staffer, counselor, and program director. He graduated from Wheaton College (IL) with a BS in Chemistry and an MA in Teaching. After teaching chemistry for three years at a high school in the Chicago suburbs, God called him to the U.P., where he has been serving as the Gwinn Area Network coordinator with Youth for Christ, now Fire UP Network, since 2006. Jeff met his lovely wife, Angie, at a Youth for Christ training event, and they were married in August, 2007. He enjoys reading, mountain biking, and being in the outdoors.

Jill Seppala is 32 years old and was born in Hancock, MI. At the age of 12 her family moved to Petoskey, MI, where she met her future husband, Brad, in middle school! They started dating in 10th grade, and were married a year out of high school. Jill graduated from NMU in 1999 with a history major in secondary education and now resides in Negaunee with Brad, their three biological children and two soon-to-be-adopted children, all between the ages of 4 and 12. Besides being a full-time mother and wife, Jill serves as Director of Fire UP Conferences. With all of her left-over time, she works part time, coordinates some big events at her children’s school, and is a youth leader at New Life in Marquette.
